Position Overview
We are seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide on-site psychiatric services to the male population at an Ohio correctional reception center.
The PMHNP will provide clinical mental health services within a correctional healthcare environment while working collaboratively with the facility's healthcare team.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. There is some flexibility in scheduling based on facility needs, with core hours generally falling between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on facility needs and mutual fit.

Required Qualifications & Credentials
Candidates must have:
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentials
- Active Ohio Medical License
- Current ANCC certification
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
- Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work in a secure correctional facility
- Ability to successfully complete all required facility screenings and credentialing

This is a secure correctional facility. Candidates must comply with all facility security procedures.
- Cell phones are not permitted until all required paperwork has been submitted and approved.
- All personnel must successfully clear a metal detector.
- Cans, tobacco products, vapes, and similar prohibited items are not permitted inside the facility.
- Food and beverages must be kept in clear, see-through containers.
- No more than 1 gallon of water may be brought into the facility.
- Additional facility security and entry requirements may apply.
